Thermochromic Pigment is a kind of microcapsules pigment which the particles are globe, the average particle diameter is 3 to 7 microns.The particles be more fine, the luster of the ink and paint will gloss better.But on the other hand, the more fine particle, the higher surface energy, easy to occur multiple of paint get together.So in the process of making ink,should dispersed the microcapsule uniform in the ink and also to avoid the rupture of the microcapsule.

The Thermochromic Pigment have the good tolerance for gasoline, kerosene, mineral oil, benzene, toluene, xylene, cyclohexanone, turpentine, DBP/DOP plasticizer and aqueous solutions of PH = 2~7.5 .If soaking for 3 months under room temperature won’t affect  its effect discoloration. When using the butyl acetate as solvent,the shelf life will be shorter than the solvents as above.Methanol, ethanol, acetone, propyl alcohol, isopropyl alcohol, DMF, the butanone, butanol and ethyl acetate such low boiling point solvent will make the performance of the Thermochromic Pigment be affected in couple days to 2 months ,and reducing the concentration color, (the solvent above C6 will have little impact of the paint).So,when mixing and printing the ink ,please take the following measures:
