The Thermochromic Pigment have the good tolerance for gasoline, kerosene, mineral oil, benzene, toluene, xylene, cyclohexanone, turpentin, DBP/DOP plasticizer and aqueous solutions of PH = 2 to 7.5 .If soaking for 3 months under room temperature won’t affect its effect discoloration. When using the butyl acetate as solvent,the shelf life will be shorter than the solvents as above.Methanol, ethanol, acetone, propyl alcohol, isopropyl alcohol, DMF, the butanone, butanol and ethyl acetate such low boiling point solvent will make the performance of the Thermochromic Pigment be affected in couple days to 2 months ,and reducing the concentration color, (the solvent above C6 will have little impact of the paint).So,when mixing and printing the ink ,please take the following measures:
(1) Use less alcohol solvent, and instead of some other solvents. Eg: you can instead of butanol by ring ethyl ketone .
(2) When must use the solvent such as butanol to make the ink. The ink should be matched as along as you need to use this , and avoid storaging.
The Thermochromic Pigment our company produces is easily dispersed in the resin liquid. So you can distribution all groups of ink expect the Thermochromic Pigment.And adding specified amount of Thermochromic Pigment .After uniform stir ,putting into the ink fountain,then starting to print.Allocate the ink composition in addition to propyl alcohol, isopropyl alcohol, butyl alcohol, etc (including the Thermochromic Pigment). Join the specified amount of the solvent before using . After uniform stir then start printing. Pay attention ,the quantity of the mixing ink can not be too much at one time.Matched as along as you need to use this , and avoid storaging.
